"This warped its way into my heart..."
Wow. Just...wow. Let me start out by saying that the animation was one of the most impressive Newgrounds flashes I have ever laid eyes on. It was fluid, stylish and had its own sense of originality. The music matched the visuals, too. It was kind of "trippy" and upbeat so that you were sort of bobbing your head along to it while watching Miyamoto strut his stuff through the worlds he stumbled upon. Everything just meshed together so well, and despite the silence of the characters (a tradition Nintendo tends to hold for its protagonists as well), it held a sort of mute charm that allowed the music to gracefully take its place.
You should be proud of this. It did not seem "rushed" at all to me. It was entertaining and pleasurable. Cheers to you! :)

This animation is astounding, and the writing is also high-caliber. The voice acting was spot-on as well. It's definitely one of the more ambitious and high-quality projects on NG. Great job!

The animation was simple but appealing. Most notably, I loved the narrative. The plot and ending were a little silly, but its randomness was sort of charming. Good job.
Author's Response:
Thanks man, the narrative was completely my idea! (to add content into the script, and to add to the runtime, without putting more effort into animation)

I'm sorry to say this, but this was quite pointless. There was no basic plot, the sprite "animation" was muddy and the sound effects were mundane. It's fine if you have a fan character, but it's a waste of time to just make something like this. What was the point? Your fan character beats up Sonic the Hedgehog and then that's it? Concentrate on adding some dialogue and a story next time.

The concept is very unique, and the animation is great! The cliffhanger really made me want to see more! So keep it up!

"One of the best games on this site!"
This is one of the best games on this site, both technologically and artistically speaking. I personally loved the story, but not just as a female. I don't think the story was necessarily "feminist," as many people are proclaiming it to be; I see it as a spin on a sensitive woman's point of view on domestic violence, as she experienced it firsthand. Does that mean anything with a female protagonist who happens to kill males is "feminist?" No! Then stop whining about it, people!
Sorry about that. I just get pissed off when guys complain about "feminism" when something like this is clearly more humanist. Anyway, the game felt very inspired. The cutscenes served the awesome purpose of adding to the mood and providing hints, which is a very intelligent design choice. The controls also worked quite well and didn't feel tacked on or unnecessary. Overall, this is an extremely impressive submission, and you clearly are very talented with both flash and game design. Nice job! :)

I really appreciated all the references to other game series; it was a very likable element. However, the voice acting lacked the proper emotion in some parts, like when Link and Leon were in that "Exit" scene. The added "oomph" would've been more impressive, but overall it was above par.
Author's Response:
Glad you liked it! Yeah, voice acting, I have to work on that a bit better, but expect imrpovements in my next Flashes, if I ever finish them..

"Not too impressed, but keep trying!"
I think this could use improvement. The outfits weren't particularly interesting or unique (oftentimes they were just color swaps, like with Marge's hair), and many of the pieces just looked like scribbles (for example, the shoes). It felt more like a practice or beta dress-up game. Maybe you should take what you have and build upon it to make something with more...pizazz. I would love to see you try again in the future. Just spend a little more time on your next project. :)
Author's Response:
This was sort of a demo, now that you mention it. I wanted to see how people would like it, and if you look at the average score, people don't like it. I'll keep trying.

Wow, what amazing animation! And the writing was certainly chuckle-worthy. Plus, I love parodies, and I'm glad someone finally did one of Captain N! I can't wait to see the next episode of Taco-Man the Game Master! See what you did?! You made me excited! Arg! Now I have to go clean up this spot... ;(
